I am recording Smitty's album right now. Hot shit. I am thinking about my album too and I can't imagine two albums from the same producer being more different, being made only months apart.
still a tv junkie: 24! Sopranos! Lost! is that a bad thing?
I bought a bike and am riding up to an hour and a half a day. Haven't ridden since I graduated from university so I am trying to get my legs again, but I love it! Haven't boiught a tank of gas in like three weeks!
My mixCD is called Mastermind, I am going to release it in May. I will do a regular edition and a deluxe edition with instrumentals and lyrics or something. What do you think, whats some good bonus shit?

i think bonus instrumental/accapellas are nice
but really a mcenroe mix would be just pleasent for me
throw on some remixes and some instrumentals and i'd definetely cop the deluxe version.
Quickly, birdapres album is dropping before or after Mastermind?
Bird album will be finished before Mastermind, but will drop after, because it will be a proper release with new distribution and full promotion.
i think the cover art should be from the game mastermind, the version i had as a kid with this really imperialist-type old man on the cover with an indian girl standing behind him.
doooo itttt
That is the cover! I have been planning the shot for months... from the 70s version of the game
that's weird hey...
Mastermind is you flipping classic breaks right? Just a bonus instrumental version of it would be perfect.
I think you should get some live shit for a bonus track or two. Have you got any or considered it?
oh, really?
that's bizarre: i read your mind.
Thats great that you are hitting the bike up. I find that being physically active does wonders for creativity!!
^^^^^^
Hippie
yo mcenroe
I have been rocking Gruf's-Hopeless album a lot lately, and was wondering when some fresh P & C material was due.
I love all of your work ...it's always a pleasure to rock P & C material on the show.
One thing that I really liked and have only ever seen one artist do (Vast) is an audio commentary track on the second disc. Just like a DVD, you had the original audio running quietly in the background, and the artists just ran right through the whole album in one take, commenting in aspects of each track, inspirations, anecdotes, etc. This is very much in-line with the new P&C Podcasts, so maybe you'd be up for it?
I love your production and, being that this is a mixtape, it'd give us some great insight into what you admire in other people's music.
For the record, 2mex does a track by track commentary on the sungodsuns record. Pretty dope insight on where the production came from.
